Me? I’ve been helping people land jobs since before I made it a business. What started over 20 years ago as rewriting friends’ resumes and coaching them through interviews, transformed into a calling, a career building programs and services… and eventually, A Foot in the Door Consulting.

I built this company because job search can be stressful and defeating, yet we have to do it over and over throughout our life. (Don’t get me started on how job search is like dating). I built this company because job seekers deserve more than one-sized-fits all templates and generic advice.

I’m here because I deeply enjoy offering an ear, sharing knowledge, providing expertise and navigating the process until the finish line. I enjoy making the process feel possible again.

With a background in social work, I bring deep empathy, active listening, and a strengths-based approach to every client. I’m a Certified Professional Resume Writer and job search strategist. I’ve supported professionals across a variety of industries from tech and nonprofit to and creatives, who are unemployed, want to pivot, seeking a leap… and everything in between.

My approach? Getting to know each one of my clients and then building individualized documents and profiles that tell a powerful story based on where they have been and where they are going. But what truly matters is I help my clients see themselves clearly and regain confidence in a job market that often feels like chaos.

Originally from Michigan, now a long-time Coloradan, I spend my free time outdoors with family and friends—campfires, live music, and wide-open trails.
